UPDATE: Woodstock Teen Returns Home
Katie Adamson was last seen leaving her home around 4 p.m. Sunday, April 12.

The Woodstock Police Department said Katie Adamson has returned home safely.

Investigators with the Woodstock Police Department asking its citizens to help in locating a teenager who was last seen Sunday afternoon.
Katie Adamson, 15, was last seen leaving her home in the city around 4 p.m. Sunday, the agency said.

“It is believed that Katie is not in danger, but has not returned home,” police spokesperson Brittany Duncan said.
Duncan added Katie was due to return home at 10 p.m., but has not returned.
Woodstock investigators believe the teenager is in the metro Atlanta area, and has been in contact with family and friends, Duncan stated.
Katie left home in clothing she has on in the picture above. Woodstock police investigators are also working closely with Cherokee County School Police Department to locate Katie.
Anyone with information on Katie Adamson’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or non-emergency number at 678-493-4080.
Callers can remain anonymous.
