Poole Funeral Home Opens in Towne Lake

WOODSTOCK, GA -- A Cherokee County commissioner has opened a new business in an industry he's had a passion for since his days in high school.

Brian Poole has launched his new venture, Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Towne Lake.

Poole is the owner, funeral director and embalmer of the business, according to the company's website. Gerald Lee also serves as funeral director and Peter Castello is on staff as funeral assistant.

The facility is located at 1970 Eagle Drive, and offers comprehensive funeral planning services for residents.

"We are honored to have the doors open on this business that we have worked very hard for," Poole, who represents District 3 on the Cherokee County Commission, said. "My staff and I are ready to assist the community, with any preened or at-need arrangements."

The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting this week to celebrate the grand opening.
