Qualifying Starts Monday For Woodstock City Council Races

The city's municipal election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Woodstock residents planning to enter politics will soon be able to formally declare their desire to seek elected office.

Qualifying for the city’s Nov. 3 municipal election will be held Monday, Aug. 31 through Wednesday, Sept. 2. Residents can qualify in the office of city clerk between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Tuesday and Wednesday.

The election will be held to fill the Ward 2, 4 and 6 seats, held by council members Chris Casdia, Liz Baxter and Rob Usher, respectively. The qualifying fee is $270.
