Reformation Brewery Introduces JUDE To Customers

Formerly known as Providence, this 9.2 percent Belgian-style Tripel will hit store shelves the week of Dec. 12.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- Woodstock-based Reformation Brewery will soon offer a new way its customers can enjoy Providence, one of its most popular selections.

Now called JUDE, this 9.2 percent Belgian-style Tripel is set to arrive at retailers in 12-ounce cans the week of Dec. 12.

The beer features a delicate floral aroma and clean citrus finish “suitable for all seasons of change” and moments of “unexpected providence," the company said.

A renamed offering from an existing year-round brand, the beer is unchanged from its existing recipe. In a statement released by the brewery earlier this week, Reformation said the change is a new naming convention that gives them an opportunity to “explore the power of parable and present narratives that sustain and create continuity between the chapters behind us, and the stories yet to come.”

CEO Spencer Nix said the new package type prompted them to lean deeper into their brand story.

"We saw moving the product into a can as an opportunity to lean deeper into the narrative behind the beer--the why behind what we do," he said. "JUDE gives us the chance to reintroduce a familiar friend with a vision firmly planted in the values we hold dear. The gold color represents a standard we hope to raise in product and story making going forward.”

Reformation Brewery will also offer a taste of the new format next week at its Keeping Room. You can enjoy a sip (or two) starting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15 at its facility at 500 Arnold Mill Way Suite A.
