Quest is 5 percent ABV and has a light apricot nose and dry finish with plentiful rye spiciness. Inspired by the traditions of Belgium and France, Quest has been free fermented with Belle Saison yeast on a base of rye and honey malts. This style is often fruity, spicy, and characterized by open or uncontrolled fermentation–celebrating the warmer seasons when field work and harvest are at their peak.

“These Georgia rivers, fields, and woods call us to carve new paths," said Reformation Brewery Co-Founder/CEO Spencer Nix. "There is freedom in open spaces which breeds a new quest in all of us. You live life long enough in this beautiful place and it becomes a part of you. We all bring our own stories to bear on the present, and Quest embodies the story of our rustic brewing heritage and our search for something newmaking something unique to this time and place.”

Several other beers are scheduled to join Quest in the market in 2016, though no details on style or launch date have yet been released.

“We want to celebrate adventure when the moment strikes,” Nix added. “Some adventures aren’t meant to last. But we appreciate them for the moment and what they teach us. We hope this series highlights giving thanks for the gift of the now, and inspires people to explore new perspectives.”

The Adventure Release series and Quest is a limited draft only release available at select retailers where draft beer is sold starting this April.
