Residents Can Recycle Christmas Trees at Olde Rope Mill Park
The city of Woodstock's annual Christmas Tree Chip & Dip initiative is now underway.

Residents who want to get rid of their Christmas trees now have an environmentally friendly way to do so.
The city of Woodstock on Friday kicked off its Christmas Tree Chip & Dip event at Olde Rope Mill Park. From 8 a.m. to dusk Friday, Dec. 26 to Monday, Jan. 12, residents can drop off their trees at the park where they will be fed into the chipper.
The following week, residents can return to the park with a shovel between 8 a.m. and dusk to dip into the batch of mulch that will be available for free.
