First, today's weather:

Here are the top five stories in Woodstock-Towne Lake today:
- The 61-year-old man accused of shooting another driver in a road rage incident last month now faces multiple charges, according to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office. Suspect Wade McEwan of Acworth has been charged with aggravated assault, reckless driving, and reckless conduct. Officials say the investigation into the incident is still ongoing. (The Telegraph)
- A Woodstock brewery was featured in a roundup of great trivia events to attend in the Atlanta area. Reformation Brewery's weekly trivia nights are held Wednesdays from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and include theme nights such as "Harry Potter." Prizes are awarded to first, second, and third place winners. (Eater Atlanta)
- A heat advisory was issued for Cherokee County for the third day in a row on Friday, with National Weather Service (NWS) officials reporting an expected heat index of 105 degrees today. Residents are advised that the hot temperatures and high humidity could cause heat illnesses. The NWS recommends drinking plenty of fluids and wearing lightweight, loose-fitting clothing when possible. (Cherokee Tribune & Ledger News)
- The Cherokee County audit conducted earlier this week of ballots cast in the May 24 primary and Jun. 21 runoff elections has confirmed the county's certified results. The audit included a total of seven precincts and returned an overall margin of error of 1.69 percent, which election officials attribute to mistakes during the hand-counting process. Officials say they hope the results of the audit will help instill greater voter confidence in Cherokee County. (Cherokee Tribune & Ledger News)
- The City of Woodstock is offering a free monthly fitness series called AMPED in the Park. The next installment will take place next Saturday, Jul. 16, at 9:00 a.m. at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater. The workout sessions are designed to be friendly to participants of all fitness levels. (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
