Road Work To Close One Street, Intersection
One closure will take place in Hickory Flat while another will be in southwest Cherokee County.
WOODSTOCK, GA -- A segment of one road and another intersection will soon close for road-related work.
At 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, Hickory Hills Drive will close at its intersection with Hickory Road for sewer line installation. The road is expected to remain closed until 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, Cherokee County said.
A detour will be posted for Bradshaw Farms residents to utilize Hickory Fairway Drive as an alternative route.

Next week, Brookwood Drive will be closed between Highway 92 and Windridge Drive in unincorporated Acworth from 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19 through 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22 for paving repairs.
Detours will also be posted to help motorist navigate the closure.
