Robert "Dylan" Ftacek, 27, Loved Playing Music, Spending Time With Loved Ones

Funeral services for the former Buck Jones Nursery employee and Woodstock resident were held on Sunday.

Viewings for Robert “Dylan” Ftacek (July 27, 1987 - Jan. 21, 2015) were held at Northside Chapel on Saturday, Jan. 24 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. 8 p.m. A memorial service was held at Northside Chapel on Sunday Jan. 25 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dean Graves officiating. Dylan was laid to rest at Big Springs Cemetery following the service.

Dylan was born and raised in Woodstock, Georgia. He was employed with Buck Jones Nursery and enjoyed reading, playing music, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. Dylan was kind, generous and loved by all.

Dylan is survived by his Father Ed Ftacek, stepmother Karen, Mother Debbie Chandler and stepfather Doug. He is also survived by his brother Jason Morgan, sister Carly Boyd and brother-in-law Danny Boyd, his nephews, Hunter, Mason, and Jameson, his grandfather Robert Ftacek, granny Jean Reeves, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Dylan’s spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and the many friends who loved him dearly. He will be missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Johnny Foundation Organization in memory of Dylan Ftacek. This Foundation was dear to his heart; he supported and participated in events held by The Johnny Foundation to help raise awareness of depression in hopes of preventing suicide.
