Woodstock, GA -- Motorist could see some considerable delays this weekend while traveling on Interstate 575 in southern Cherokee County.

The Georgia Department of Transportation is informing motorists to expect rolling lane closures Friday evening and early Saturday morning along two segments of the interstate.
A traffic shift and a rolling lane closure will take place from 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29 to 5 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 along I-575 between S.R. 92 and Ridgewalk Parkway.

Just to the south, a traffic pace will slow down both northbound and southbound traffic from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31 on I-575 between Bells Ferry Road and S.R. 92.
Motorists are asked to slow down and proceed with caution through these areas.
