Sabine Joins Reformation Brewery's Adventure Release Series

This French Saison has 5.1 percent ABV and will make its debut on Friday, March 3.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- Debuting in its tasting room on Friday, March 3, Sabine is the next beer to roll out as part of Reformation Brewery's Adventure Release Series.

Described as having an effervescent spirit and dry floral humor, Sabine is a French Saison at 5.1 percent ABV “made for moments of authenticity and illumination," the company said. The beer owes its old-world, white wine character to French Yeast. Huell Melon hops lend notes of cantaloupe and orange blossom, and mild white pepper shines through on the finish.

CEO Spencer Nix says there’s "beauty" in the beer’s simplicity.

“We’re always seeking balance," he added. "Not just in our beer, but in the culture it creates. The instinct is often to add more, when less can serve us just as well, if not better. It can be a revelation in today’s culture to experience something crafted with restraint.”

Uncomplicated by spices, fruit, or other adjuncts, the delicate, clean simplicity of malt, hops, and yeast shine through. Piloted by Head Cellarman Chris Golden, the recipe ran through several test batches in the brewery’s Keeping Room where it has worked its way onto visitors' most-wanted list.
