Sheriff Reynolds Recognizes Deputies With Awards
Each quarter, Sheriff Reynolds presents awards and commendations in front of the Board of Commissioners honoring employees and locals.

From Cherokee Sheriff Dept.: Cherokee Sheriff Frank Reynolds bestowed several awards Tuesday night to deserving sheriff’s office employees and citizens. In front of the Cherokee Board of Commissioners, Sheriff Reynolds presented the “Sheriff’s Life Saving Award” to Sgt. Jamal Campbell, Cpl. Blake McCoy, Deputy Cameron Cox, Deputy Jordan Howantineck and Deputy Stephanie Hudson. Lt. Brooke Anderson, commander of the Bridge Mill Precinct, was awarded two Life Saving Awards.
In addition to the public safety personnel being honored for their efforts during the last quarter, citizens Suzanne Werner, Amanda Williamson and Evan Stewart received Life Saving Awards from Sheriff Reynolds.
“Sheriff’s Commendation Awards” also were presented during the County Commission meeting. Cpl. Justin Messenger, Cpl. Scott Ryder, Deputy Johnathan Dennis, Deputy Jeremy Driskell, Deputy Andrew Hendrix, Deputy Courey Carter, Deputy David Shultz and GCIC Terminal Operator Diana Landers all earned Sheriff’s Commendation Awards for their work.
