Summer School Options Announced By Cherokee Schools
Summer School will be offered from June 6 - 24 for Cherokee County students.
CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA — Summer School will be offered from June 6 - 24 for Cherokee County seniors.
Options for credit recovery and initial credit are detailed below. More detailed registration information will be released later this month.
Credit Recovery

- In-person math credit recovery at Cherokee High and Woodstock High campuses
- Semester A: 8 a.m. - noon
- Semester B: 12:30 - 4:30 p.m.
- Fully digital credit recovery (English language arts, science, social studies)
- In-person content teacher support (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) at Cherokee High and Woodstock High campuses
- Virtual content teacher support (8 a.m. - 8 p.m.)
- Students may register for a maximum of two courses
- Registration will begin on April 25 via the link at 2022 Summer School Registration, The form is closed until April 25.
- No registration fee
Initial credit for personal fitness and health
Cherokee Schools will offer an opportunity for rising ninth graders to take personal fitness (in-person; 8 a.m. - noon) and health (12:30 - 4:30 p.m.) at two locations, Cherokee High for Cherokee, Creekview and Sequoyah students, and Woodstock High for Etowah, River Ridge and Woodstock students. The cost of each course will be $200.
