Sunshine on a Ranney Day Partners with Make-A-Wish Georgia To Reveal Dream Room Makeover

Atlanta nonprofits team up to make a wish come true for Woodstock child struggling with long-term illness

Sunshine on a Ranney Day (SOARD), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating home makeovers for families with children who have long-term illnesses, has teamed up with Make-A-Wish® Georgia to bring light to a deserving Woodstock family. The nonprofits are making a wish come true for 13-year-old Andrew Lovin by transforming his room into an exhilarating gaming oasis.

Make-A-Wish® Georgia child Andrew received a kidney transplant in 2014 which includes enduring regular blood draws, a plethora of medications on a daily basis and doctors constantly monitoring the efficiency of his kidney function. Despite encountering all of these struggles, he is a growing 13 year old who is on track in eighth grade, plays tennis and like all teens loves gaming.

With his family by his side, Andrew’s big bedroom reveal will take place at the Lovin’s home on Wednesday, November 18th at 6:00 p.m.
