Taste Of Woodstock Returns To Event Green On Thursday

WOODSTOCK, GA — The Taste of Woodstock returns on Thursday, Sept. 9 at the Woodstock Arts Event Green in Downtown Woodstock. This year’s event features 13 restaurants and eateries sampling their dishes while competing for People’s Choice Award.

Buy tickets to exchange for tastes of food from participants. Cash is not accepted at tasting tents. Tickets cost 50 cents each and packages start at $5. Ticket booths will be located at entrances along Market Street at Elm and Oak Streets. Ticket booths open at 4:30 p.m. on Market Street, with the event running from 4-9 p.m.

Items are priced between two and eight tickets ($1 to $4 in value). Water, soft drinks, beer and wine are available at refreshment stands and will be sold for cash or card.

Go by the Woodstock mobile visitor center to vote for your favorite taste for the People’s Choice Award before 7:15 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Woodstock High School Band Boosters.

The following participants will be at this year’s event, including Agave Azul Mexican Kitchen, Dulce Gelato, Eden Woodstock, Freight Kitchen & Tap, IPP'S, Leaning Ladder, Pie Bar, Prime 120, Reel Seafood, Sahara Grill, Susto’s Taco Bar, The Daily Draft, and Woodstock Beer Market.
