Teens Charged With Robbery In Woodstock

The victim told sheriff's deputies the suspects asked him to "make change," but knocked his wallet to the ground and stole his cash.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Four suspects have been charged with robbing a resident in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on Thursday in Woodstock. Deputies with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office were dispatched around 3:29 p.m. Dec. 28 at McDonald's at 2105 Towne Lake Parkway.

The victim told deputies he was approached by four suspects and one asked him to "make change," said sheriff's office spokesperson Sgt. Marianne Kelley. While retrieving his wallet, the suspects knocked the item out of the victim's hands. They gathered up the cash that tumbled out of the wallet and left the scene.

With the help of the Woodstock Police Department, deputies set up a perimeter and began combing the area for the four suspects. Due to the quick actions of both departments, all four suspects were taken into custody as they exited the wood line of an adjoining neighborhood of the business park, Sgt. Kelley said.
