Two Clothing Stores To Open in Downtown Woodstock

WOODSTOCK, GA -- You will soon have two additional stores in downtown Woodstock where you can expand your wardrobe.

Southern Local will open its space at 8650 Main Street, the former home of Gin Miller Fitness. The local boutique store offers clothing and other apparel for men, women and children.

Staying true to its name, Southern Local promote items that many of its patrons would identify with the South: sweet tea, college football and tailgating.

Southern Local's Facebook page hasn't indicated when the store will open, but Patch has reached out the company to see if a grand opening date has been established.

The central business district will also see the opening of Sweet River Rough River of Woodstock. This store will open at 8636 Main Street, which is the former location of Natrual Strides.

Also offering clothing and accessories for men, women and children, Sweet River Rough River of Woodstock has tentatively scheduled its grand opening for Oct. 1.

To help get its operations up and running, the store is looking "for some energetic, friendly, outgoing, customer service driven, dependable folks" to work at its establishment, it said on its Facebook page.
