When Are High School Graduations In Cherokee County?

Graduation ceremonies for the Cherokee County School District will be held at First Baptist Church of Woodstock.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- The graduation date is fast approaching for high school seniors who will soon embark on the next chapter of their lives.

The Cherokee County School District has released the schedule for its high school graduation ceremonies for the class of 2017.

One again, each event will be held at First Baptist Church of Woodstock at 11905 Highway 92.

The 2017 lineup is as follows:

  • Creekview High School: 4 p.m., Thursday, May 25
  • Etowah High School: 8 p.m., Thursday, May 25
  • Woodstock High School: 4 p.m., Friday, May 26
  • Cherokee High School: 8 p.m., Friday, May 26
  • Sequoyah High School: 9 a.m., Saturday, May 27
  • River Ridge High School: 1 p.m., Saturday, May 27

For family and friends who can't attend the events in person, each ceremony will be streamed lived on the church's website.

Of course, these celebrations of the milestone achieved by Cherokee County School District students will come with some traffic delays. The Woodstock Police Department should release details of how motorists and attendees can navigate the area as the dates draw closer.
