Brother Named Person of Interest in Woman's Death (UPDATE)
Karen Twilley, 58, was found dead early Wednesday morning outside her home near Woodstock.

WOODSTOCK, GA — A woman reported missing in southwest Cherokee County has been found dead outside her own home, and investigators have identified her brother as a person of interest in the apparent homicide.
Deputies with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office received the call around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday of a 58-year-old woman reported missing.
The body of Woodstock resident Karen Twilley was discovered outside her home on Pine Circle, which sits off Victoria Road near Allatoona Lake, said sheriff's office spokesperson Lt. Jay Baker.

Detectives are investigating the death, which has been ruled as an apparent homicide. Baker said Twilley, who lived at the home with her 86-year-old mother, did have injuries on her body, but would not provide any additional details about that discovery.
Investigators are attempting to locate Joseph Felton Twilley, 54, who is a "person of interest" in the death of his sister.

Twilley is 6’2” tall and weighs roughly 160 pounds. Authorities also say a 2001 blue Ford Focus, bearing Georgia tag ACT 8621, is missing from the location of the incident. The vehicle, which has a tennis ball-sized smiley face on its antenna, was last seen traveling westbound on Interstate 20 in Carroll County at around 3 a.m. Nov. 16.
Twilley has made threats to harm law enforcement and himself, and should be considered dangerous, Baker added.
If anyone has seen or knows his whereabouts they are urged to call 911. Do not attempt to approach Twilley.
