Woodstock Fire Department Recognizes 2017 Award Winners
The winners were recognized during the department's annual banquet.
WOODSTOCK, GA -- The Woodstock Fire & Rescue Department last week held its annual holiday party and awards banquet where Chief Dave Soumas and Assistant Chief Jimmy Eley recognized employees for their outstanding achievements in 2017.
The following received annual awards signifying their great work and contributions to the department:
- Officer of the Year – Lt. Shane Tetterton
- Firefighter of the Year – Jason Cox
- Rookie of the Year – Phil Smith
Several employees also received various fitness awards. Those firefighters are: David Sargenski, David Gray, Josh Dinsmore, Jason Cox, Joey Cheshire, Sgt. Kerry VanderPool, Clint Helbley, Wes Huffman, Brett Kelley, Sgt. Rusty Beal, RJ Kesler, Sgt. Cory Collogan, Jordan Carter, Britt Neeley, Lt. Daniel Allen and Lt. Tim Smith.
