Woodstock Fire Department Recognizes Valuable Partnerships
Neese Towing and Cherokee County Fire Explorers were among the partners thanked by Woodstock FD in front of the mayor.

WOODSTOCK-TOWNE LAKE, GA - From the Woodstock Fire Department: At last night’s Mayor and City Council meeting, Woodstock Fire Department thanked Cherokee County Fire Explorers as well as Neese Towing by recognizing them before Mayor and City Council.
Cherokee County Fire Explorers assisted the Woodstock Fire Department at its Open House, held on October 7th, where the public was invited to attend and learn more about their local fire department. “The help we received from the Cherokee County Fire Explorers allowed us to execute the best possible event for our citizens. With crowds increasing each year, their valuable support contributed to a successful event. We are very grateful” says Sgt. George Williams, Woodstock Fire Department.
Also recognized at last night’s Mayor and City Council meeting was Neese Towing. Woodstock Fire Department acknowledged Neese Towing’s partnership where Neese Towing provided cars for event demonstrations, Citizens Public Safety Academy vehicle extrication demo, and training for all Fire personnel. This year, they donated 11 cars alone to the Fire Department’s extrication training. This allowed Woodstock Fire personnel to advance and perfect their extrication skills so that rescues are as efficient as possible.
