Woodstock To Hold Candlelight Ceremony To Honor Veterans

The city's annual ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Park at City Center.

The city of Woodstock will once again honor those who’ve served in the military with its annual Veterans Day Ceremony.

The city’s candlelight ceremony will start at 7 p.m. at the Park at City Center in downtown Woodstock.

Woodstock will be joined by members of the Major General Warren R. Johnson Marine Corps League Detachment #1311, American Legion Post 316 and the Warriors’ Watch Riders in the ceremony “to celebrate our veterans who have given us our liberty and freedom.”

The celebration is free and open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend.
