Woodstock Hosts Blood Drive On March 27

The City of Woodstock is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, March 27 from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at the Chambers at City Center.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- Join the City of Woodstock on Wednesday, March 27 from 10 a.m.-5:30 p. m. at the Chambers at City Center, 8534 Main St. in downtown Woodstock, for a Blood Drive.

All donors will receive a recognition item and a free cholesterol screening. Donors must be at least 16-years-old, weight at least 110-pounds and show a photo I.D. 16-year-olds require written parent permission.

The blood drive is in conjunction with LifeSouth. To schedule a time to donate, go online.

LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 100 hospitals in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. The bank said they are are committed to meeting the blood supply needs of hospitals and their patients by providing the highest quality blood components and services. With more than 30 donor centers, 45 blood mobiles and 2,000 blood drives a month, the LifeSouth team is dedicated to making sure the blood is there when you or your family member is in need.
