Woodstock Krispy Kreme Celebrates Birthday With Donuts, Deals

WOODSTOCK, GA — The Woodstock Krispy Kreme is celebrating the company's birthday with a special limited-edition doughnut as well as a deal on a dozen doughnuts. Krispy Kreme turns 81 on Friday, July 27.

Customers who buy a dozen doughnuts can purchase an original dozen glazed doughnuts for $1 on Friday, July 27. The business will also offer a glazed confetti doughnut that has birthday cake inside and out from July 27 to Aug. 2.

The special release doughnut features a vanilla birthday cake-inspired dough with confetti sprinkles, topped with the classic glaze as well as sprinkles.

Krispy Kreme is located at 9420 Highway 92 in Woodstock. Store hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday; and from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

"One of our favorite times during the year is when we get to celebrate our birthday with our fans," company CEO Mike Tattersfield said in a release. "In addition to offering a delicious dollar deal on an extra dozen of our Original Glazed Doughnuts, we've 'birthday-ed' up our awesome Original Glazed Doughnut, creating a whole new experience."

The company described the Glazed Confetti Doughnut it as a modern take on the nostalgic fan-favorite birthday cake flavor. The doughnut features a vanilla birthday cake-inspired dough with confetti sprinkles throughout. It's also glazed in classic "Original Glaze," and lightly topped with colorful sprinkles.

Krispy Kreme, based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, has doughnuts in about 12,000 grocery, convenience and mass merchant stores in America and nearly 1,400 retail shops across the globe.
