Woodstock Leaders To Hold Annual Retreat
The retreat will take place Friday and Saturday at Magnolia Hall.

Woodstock’s mayor and City Council will soon get together to set the city’s priorities for 2015.
The city will hold its annual planning retreat Jan. 9-10 at Magnolia Hall in downtown Woodstock. Friday’s retreat will start at noon and Saturday’s session will begin at 8 a.m.
On Friday, the city will go over department reports from its Finance, Fire Department, Public Works and Information Technology departments. They will also be introduced to the city’s Downtown Development Authority members and hear an economic development update.

On Saturday, leaders will also hear reports from the Community Development, Parks and Recreation and Police departments.
The City Council will also discuss a donation to the Sequoyah Regional Library System, benefits for elected officials and part-time employees, changing the city’s fiscal year, inflatables, hold round-table style work sessions and review its strategic plan.
