Woodstock Man Charged With Child Porn Possession

WOODSTOCK, GA -- A Woodstock man has been charged with more than three dozen counts of child pornography possession.

Howard Gregory Azar, 50, was arrested Wednesday evening at his home in Woodstock on 38 counts of possession of child pornography, Cherokee Sheriff's Office spokesperson Lt. Jay Baker said.

Baker said Azar was arrested by a detective with the agency's Internet Crimes Against Children Unit following a nine-month investigation.

Azar remains held without bond at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center. Return to Patch for updates.
