Woodstock Man Named President Of Service Management Systems
Keith Wolken, a Georgia native, has taken the helm as President of Service Management Systems.

WOODSTOCK-TOWNE LAKE, GA - From Service Management Systems: Keith Wolken, Chairman and CEO of SMS Holdings Corporation, announced today that Scott Born has been named President of Service Management Systems, one of the corporation’s major operating companies.
Scott replaces Michael Wein in the position and returns to the company he spent 15 years with previously as a member of the executive team of Valor Security Services. SMS Holdings acquired Valor in 1999 and built it into one of the top 15 security providers in the United States before selling the company to Allied Universal in 2015.

Scott Born is a 1995 graduate of The University of Georgia. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, Scott joined Valor Security Services and after several promotions, was named Regional Manager. Recognized early on in the industry for his leadership skills, Scott was recruited and hired by General Growth Properties in 1999 as their Corporate Security Manager, where he helped author the first standardized national retail contract for security providers. In 2000, Scott returned to Valor and successfully managed several large retail portfolios. From 2009 to 2012, Scott also managed Valor’s Business Development efforts.
In February of 2015, Scott joined the Allied Universal team via the acquisition of Valor, where he managed a portfolio of contracts and oversaw the Retail Project Manager Team. In 2017, Scott was promoted to Senior Vice President and was chosen to lead the Organizational Development Plan for the Retail Division.

Scott resides in Woodstock, Georgia with his wife, Laura, and five sons.
