Woodstock Music Teacher Charged With Child Molestation

Jason Andrew Young taught private lessons in his home, and the sheriff's office want residents to come forward if their child had lessons.

WOODSTOCK, GA — A man who taught music to students in his home has been charged with two counts of aggravated child molestation, the Cherokee Sheriff's Office said.

Jason Andrew Young of Woodstock was booked into the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center on July 9 and remains held without bond, sheriff's office spokesperson Sgt. Marianne Kelley.

With Young's arrest, the Cherokee Sheriff's Office wants to hear from anyone whose children took lessons from the accused.
