Woodstock Police Need Help Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

On Sept. 12, a man entered the Dollar General Store, 9740 Main Street, and demanded money with a gun. Now police need your help finding him.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Woodstock Police Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an attempted armed robbery.

On Thursday, Sept. 12 at 5:45 p.m., a black male entered the Dollar General Store, 9740 Main Street in Woodstock. After conversing with staff for a moment, the male presented a small, black handgun from his back pack and demanded money from the store employees, police said.

The store employees had no money to turn over to him and the suspect left the store. Nobody was injured.

The suspect is described to be a black male, approximately 230 pounds, in his mid 30s. On the day of the incident, the suspect was wearing a bright pink hat, navy or black t-shirt, and white shoes.
