Police are actively searching for him and say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Woodstock police are looking for a man suspected of attempting to commit a violent carjacking earlier this month, according to reports. Kenneth Bethea Jr., 29, is the suspect.

Bethea is alleged to have fired a shot in the air and to have used the gun to break the window of the victim's car on Feb. 1. The incident happened at The Heights at Towne Lake apartments.

Police said Bethea tried to get into the car, but the car's owner was able to drive away.
