The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada awarded the distinction to the city for its comprehensive annual financial reporting, or CAFR.
The certificate is the highest form of recognition in the area of government financial reporting and accounting. The award was presented to Chief Financial Officer Robert Porche.
