The final draft master plan will be unveiled for participants to provide final feedback and comment during the three-hour period.
The public was asked to provide input to create a “shared vision for the future growth of this important gateway,” according to the Highway 92 Corridor Livable Centers Initiative Study’s website.
Woodstock sought guidance from residents and stakeholders on the redevelopment of the state highway. The project expands upon the 2002 Downtown Woodstock LCI project, which led to the recent improvements made to Main Street.
The LCI study area includes roughly 400 acres adjacent to Highway 92 east of Interstate 575. Its boundaries include I-575 to the west, the back of parcels adjacent to and Highway 92 to the north, parcels adjacent to Stonecroft Lanes to the east and the back of parcels adjacent to Highway 92 to the south.
The LCI would also identify appropriate investment projects to improve the “aesthetics and functionality of this corridor.”
