Woodstock Road Detour Extended To Nov. 25
Cherokee County said the extension is due to "various utility company conflicts."

ACWORTH, GA -- A segment of Woodstock Road is expected to remain closed for an additional week.
That's according to the Cherokee County Roadway Capital Program Management Division, which said the road between Kellogg Creek Road and Victory Drive will remain closed to through traffic through Friday, Nov. 25.
The detour, which went into place in late October, was originally scheduled to end Nov. 8, but was revised to be in place through Friday, Nov. 18. The detour is needed to accommodate drainage pipe replacement and roadway grade changes associated with the reconstruction of the roadway.
