Woodstock Unveils Transportation Options For Summer Concerts

The 21st annual Summer Concert Series kicks off Saturday, May 12 with the Swingin' Medallions.

WOODSTOCK, GA — The city of Woodstock's annual Summer Concert Series will kick off Saturday, May 12, with the Swingin' Medallions taking the stage at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater.

The popularity of the city's events means a large number of attendees are expected to descend onto downtown Woodstock for the start of the 21st annual season. The city will offer a free shuttle service for the summer concerts.

A total of 6 buses will run two routes:

Route 1: Northside Hospital Towne Lake Parking Deck (900 Towne Lake Parkway) traveling to and from the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater at 101 Arnold Mill Road.

Route 2: Woodstock City Church (150 Ridgewalk Parkway) traveling to and from the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater.

The shuttles will run each summer concert from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Additionally, the city has designated an Uber/Lyft drop-off and pick-up location at the Chambers at City Center at 8534 Main Street. Of course, the city's trolley will run its normal routes during special events. You can check out the destinations and stops by visiting the city's website.
