Wreck Injures 3 in Woodstock

The Woodstock Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle accident injured three people and tied up traffic on Interstate 575 Saturday morning.

Officers with the agency, along with crews with Woodstock Fire and Rescue and Holly Springs police, responded around 9:20 a.m. Feb. 7 to the accident on the southbound side of the interstate just north of Ridgewalk Parkway, said Woodstock police spokesperson Brittany Duncan.

Initial reports indicate the vehicle “left the roadway” and the accident resulted in injuries for three people, Duncan added.

All three victims were transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital for treatment. One occupant of the vehicle remains hospitalized with serious injuries, Duncan stated.
