Youth Cross Country Registration, Ages 6 and Up Welcome

Registration is open the 2017 EYTC Fall Cross Country season. Final registration is this Thursday, August 10th.

Etowah Youth Track 2017 Fall Cross Country Season

What is cross country all about? Cross County is as much a team sport as it is an individual sport! We run distance on the trails, the track and hills, compete in local, state and national meets and have fun!
You run one race (distance varies based on your age) with members of your team!

Who can join? Any student from 1st grade to 12th grade (including home school) students who like to run or are interested in being part of a running team! Enrollment will be limited due to the number of coaches available.
How far are the races? 8 & Under – 2K, 9 & 10 – 3K, 11 & 12 – 3K, 13 & 14 – 4k , 15 & up – 4K or 5K

Were & when do we run (practices & meets)? We will start the season at the Cherokee County Outdoor YMCA and then will move to Etowah High School Track later in the season.
• Practices this season will be from 6:00pm -7:30pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Beginning in October practices will be from 5:30pm -7:00pm. We will have meets on Saturdays!
• First practice will begin Monday August 21th, 6:00PM , parent meeting Thursday August 17th , 7:00pm

How do I sign up? In person registration will be at the Towne Lake Publix - Rose Creek in the Restaurant Area. In-person registration is required if you are new to the team
Sunday August 6th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Thursday August 10nd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Registration Fees: $175 for new members & $130 starting fee for returning members.

Etowah Youth Track Club is a non-profit track and cross country club located in Woodstock, GA. The mission of the club is to foster interest in running while motivating our athletes to demonstrate personal integrity, discipline and friendship. This love of running can be something an athlete takes into adulthood.
