With more than 25 years of experience managing infrastructure, budgets, and emergency response, he’s expected to strengthen Ammon’s long-term planning and day-to-day reliability for residents.
   

• Idaho Falls City Council hears from coroner, sheriff, police chief on dangers of kratom (kivitv.com) — Ammon leaders are being urged by the Bonneville County sheriff to consider banning kratom sales if Idaho Falls moves ahead with its own ordinance, to prevent sales from shifting into nearby communities. Local officials described several recent kratom-related deaths and school-age use, and Idaho Falls may vote on its ban at Thursday’s council meeting, which could influence what Ammon does next.
