• Deputies: Man arrested after dash cam video contradicts claim he didn't know he hit pedestrian (localnews8.com) — A woman was hospitalized after being hit by a speeding vehicle in the Albertson’s parking lot on 25th East in Ammon, and deputies say dash cam video contradicted the driver’s claim he didn’t know he struck her. A witness followed the car onto 17th Street and South Ammon Road, helping Bonneville County deputies locate and arrest the 29-year-old suspect for felony leaving the scene of an injury crash. Investigators are still working the case, and no further details are available yet.
