📰 News we're reading
• Volleyball Recap: Kennewick's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday (maxpreps.com) — Genesee volleyball dropped a tight 2–1 road match to Kennewick, extending a six-game losing streak and leaving the Bulldogs at 4–11. They quickly bounced back on the court, however, earning a 2–0 win in their next matchup against a tournament opponent later that same day.
• ITD's third annual 'Name a Snowplow' contest begins (kivitv.com) — Students in Genesee can again take part in Idaho's "Name a Snowplow" contest, which runs statewide through October for grades 6–12 and homeschoolers. With Genesee School District previously winning for "Blizzard Basher," local classrooms have a real shot at another clever name and a snowplow visit with a winter safety presentation later this year.
