• 19th annual Harrison Oktoberfest is Saturday in Harrison (gazetterecord.com) — Harrison's 19th annual Oktoberfest is coming up this Saturday, Oct. 3, from 1 to 7 p.m. in Harrison City Park, with food from the elementary school PTA, kids' games, live music, and a townwide scarecrow contest. Local breweries, craft vendors, and family-friendly activities like balloon animals, bounce houses, and a Root Beer Garden make it a full-day outing for residents and visitors.
