• $40 million tech hub aims to build Eastern Idaho's nuclear workforce (postregister.com) — A new $40 million Intermountain-West Nuclear Energy Corridor Tech Hub is channeling major federal and local investment into Idaho Falls, centered at the College of Eastern Idaho's Future Tech Building and BEA Applied STEM Institute. The initiative will train up to 1,000 local students for nuclear and high-tech careers, strengthen the regional supply chain, and help attract advanced energy companies to Eastern Idaho. 
• Idaho Falls woman opens recovery center born from her own struggle (ksl.com) — A new recovery center on Lomax Street in Idaho Falls is now offering addiction and mental health services for youth and adults, inspired by co-founder Stephanie Taylor-Thompson's own journey. Local and federal leaders joined the grand opening and a weekend celebration highlighting faith, community support, and expanded treatment options for residents and others seeking help.
• Three East Idaho crashes within 48 hours (rexburgstandardjournal.com) — Idaho State Police are investigating three serious East Idaho crashes from the weekend, including a violent U-Haul collision on I-15 just south of Idaho Falls where both drivers miraculously walked away unhurt. Two other wrecks near American Falls and Heyburn sent multiple people, including a Boise family and a Washington truck driver, to nearby hospitals by air and ground ambulance.
