Deployable Energy selected by NRIC to test its nuclear battery at DOME (localnews8.com) — Idaho Falls' Idaho National Laboratory will host Houston-based Deployable Energy in 2027 as it tests a transportable microreactor, the Nuclear Unity Battery, at the DOME facility. The full-power trial will evaluate safety, performance, and controls, reinforcing INL's growing role in advancing next-generation nuclear power technologies with potential national energy impacts.
