• Bald Mountain Stewardship Program aims to improve forest health at Sun Valley Resort (kivitv.com) — Work on Bald Mountain above Ketchum has thinned hundreds of acres of forest to reduce wildfire risk while also opening 430 new acres of skiable terrain at Sun Valley Resort. Backed by federal infrastructure funds and local donations, the stewardship program is planting tens of thousands of diverse trees and sending removed firewood to Idaho tribes, with strong support from Wood River Valley residents.
