• Idaho moves to fix wildlife crash problem decades in the making (landline.media) — Drivers near Montpelier should expect construction this month on three new wildlife underpasses and fencing along U.S. Highway 30 at Rocky Point, one of the worst local crash hotspots. The $12 million, federally funded project aims to cut deer collisions, improve safety for Montpelier-area motorists, and protect a valued mule deer herd, with completion expected this fall.
