• Sandpoint homeowners federal racketeering case ends in dismissal (thenewstribune.com) — Homeowners in the Mountain Homestead subdivision just north of Ponderay have had their federal racketeering lawsuit dismissed by an Idaho judge, though a related state case is still pending. The dispute centers on alleged water, septic, and access problems in the development and claims that local officials and others misled buyers, while some defendants insist the suit was an unfounded money grab.
