• Remembering 9/11; Rigby Veterans to hold ceremony on Sept. 11 (postregister.com) — Rigby veterans and community members are inviting residents to a 9/11 commemoration at Veterans Memorial Park at noon on Sept. 11, followed by a special tribute during Rigby High School's Homecoming pre-show that evening. The events will honor lives lost, local veterans, first responders, and those currently serving, while emphasizing community unity and remembrance. Families are encouraged to attend both ceremonies. 
• Rigby rotary honors teacher with Paul Harris Award (idahopress.com) — A Rigby High School teacher has been honored with Rotary International's prestigious Paul Harris Award for years of service leading the school's Interact club. Her students' projects, from blanket-making to park cleanups and school supply drives, have directly benefited Rigby and Jefferson County. The recognition highlights how local teens are learning leadership and "service above self" while improving their hometown.
