• TRAVEL BASEBALL ROUNDUP: Sasquatch 17U competes at Boise Summer Kickoff (bonnercountydailybee.com) — Sandpoint High players powered the Sasquatch 17U travel team through four games at the Boise Summer Kickoff, highlighted by a 12–6 win over Columbia and a dramatic 6–6 tie with Champion Baseball. Local standouts like Blake Bogadi, Daniel Holman, Trevor Tadic, and others filled the box scores. The squad now heads to the Whitworth Prospect Series June 5–7 to face teams from Spokane and Kalispell. 
• Peace Run returns to Bonner County June 28 (bonnercountydailybee.com) — An international Peace Run relay team will arrive in Sandpoint around 3 p.m. on June 28, meeting residents and youth groups for presentations and a chance to hold the peace torch. The global relay, honoring America’s 250th anniversary, will stop in town before heading east toward Helena and eventually New York.
• FBCS senior awarded Festival at Sandpoint scholarship (bonnercountydailybee.com) — A Forrest Bird Charter School senior from Sandpoint has earned the Festival at Sandpoint’s “Vocal Excellence” scholarship, recognizing her standout vocal talent and commitment to music. The award caps years of involvement in choir, theater, and leadership clubs, and she’ll share her voice with locals again during Community Day at the Festival at Sandpoint this summer.
