• Idaho officials warn of early critical fire danger weather (ktvb.com) — Critical fire weather is already hitting Star and southern Idaho, with hot, windy, very dry conditions that could let even small sparks turn into fast-moving wildfires. The Middleton-Star Fire District is ramping up staffing and urging residents to avoid mowing or burning in the heat, secure chains, and clear brush to create defensible space around homes.
