Illinois Man Who Was On 'Family Feud' Killed Wife, Jury Finds: Reports
A man who joked that he regretted marrying his wife when he appeared on the show later shot her 14 times, according to reports.
QUINCY, IL — An Illinois man who appeared on an episode of “Family Feud” was convicted of shooting his wife 14 times, according to reports.
Timothy Bliefnick was found guilty last month by a jury of killing Rebecca Bliefnick in February, USA Today reported, adding her father found her dead in her home after she didn’t pick up her three children from school in downstate Quincy.
“… as they go forward with a certain truth — their father murdered their mother — we ask that you keep Becky’s three incredible boys in your prayers,” her sister, Sarah Reilly, told the Herald-Whig.

Timothy Bliefnick was arrested March 13 and is set to be sentenced Aug. 11, according to USA Today, which reported the couple was getting divorced at the time of Rebecca Bliefnick’s death and Rebecca Bliefnick, a nurse, previously sought an order of protection against her husband.
Timothy Bliefnick was convicted of first-degree murder and home invasion after jurors heard from nearly 50 witnesses and saw over 180 pieces of evidence, according to WGEM, which reported he did not testify and may face a life sentence.

“As I stated it is our belief that the work of the Quincy Police Department exonerated Tim, but obviously the jury felt differently,” his attorney, Casey Schnack, said in a prepared statement published by WGEM. “While we disagree with their verdict, we certainly accept it.”
