Storms in the morning will be capable of gusty winds and hail, as well as lightning, the weather service said.

"After these storms exit the area to the north, there remains some uncertainty as to whether additional storms will be able to form later in the afternoon and evening," the weather service said on its Facebook page.
If storms do form later in the day, then they could also be strong to severe.

The weather service said it is more likely that most areas remain dry until the overnight hours when more storms are expected.
Friday is also expected to have near-record warmth, with a high of 75 degrees possible. According to NWS data, the record high for March 6 (Friday) is 70 degrees, which was set in 2000.
