Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Will County
Severe storms are possible on Friday night, including a risk for hail, wind and tornadoes.
A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for areas south of Chicago, including Kankakee, Grundy, Livingston, Iroquois and Will counties until 10 p.m.
According to the National Weather Service, periods of storms are expected through Friday night. Heavy rain and localized flooding are possible with any of these storms.
The weather service said some of the storms in the early evening and again late Friday night could become severe.

"Large hail and locally damaging winds will be possible with the strongest storms," the weather service said. "There is also a risk for tornadoes with any thunderstorms that develop through early evening."
Warmer temperatures will continue into the weekend, with a high of 64 expected on Saturday, 63 on Sunday and 73 degrees on Monday, according to the current forecast.
